Alright ,well ,it is a new year. I have some new goals. I
don’t really believe in resolutions. One is to run a full marathon. I completed
my first half marathon and it was an awesome experience. I will be doing it
again. I have about eight races I will complete. A couple of half marathons,
5ks , 10ks and of course the full marathon at the end of the year. Running a half marathon has been on my bucket
list since I moved down to the midsouth. Another goal I am completing is eating
all raw foods for the first 21 days of the new year. I believe in doing fast
and giving the first of my year to God. The Bible states some things only come
through fasting and praying. I started
Sunday. I am doing the program through Raw Foods on a Budget. I have been
following Brandi Rolling for a couple of years now. She is the creator of the program I am doing. I
had made up in my mind that this year I was going to do her program. Over thanksgiving she offered a special and I
jumped on it. It has been great so far. I never knew eating raw could be so
delicious. We have a meal plan and I did all the prep over the weekend on
Sunday after church. I did a sample plate Sunday. A couple items on the menu
are a kale salad, mango salsa and wild rice just to name a few. I will be
writing about my experience on the program all this month. What are some of
